Hoisin Pork Steaks – Syn Free
So, this week I’m determined to slip back into a healthy eating lifestyle after a disastrous 2020. Let’s face it, I think it was a disaster for most people with the global pandemic and lockdowns. We looked around for some slow cooker slimming world friendly recipes to try. I can tell you there are some little gems out there. This Hoisin Pork Steaks recipe is ideal when I have a busy day working from home, or helping with homeschooling. It is a recipe I can put it in the slow cooker at the start of the day, then set it off on low mid-morning for a delicious evening meal.
As it’s all cooked in the slow cooker, there’s not a great deal of mess to clean up afterwards either. Well, aside from a frying pan to sear the steaks initially. A welcome bonus after wrangling with the kids schoolwork and certainly stops us reaching for the Prosecco!

Cook either on high for 4 hours, or on low for 6 hours
