Slimming World Oat Pancakes – Syn Free
Pancakes, without the guilt, on Slimming World!
Whilst following Slimming World, I’ve always been a little jealous, secretly of the kids having pancakes. They’re such a simple desert to make but, containing flour, they’re laden with syns on Slimming World. I know that I could syn them but, I always like to have little snacks in the evening time. They’re my little treat for having a great dieting day.
I can’t quite remember how I discovered these pancakes. I think it might have been a suggestion by a group member. It may also have been from a post on Facebook as well. Either way, I’m glad that they were discovered, as they use breakfast oats in place of flour, they’re technically syn free.
I say technically. There’s some debate as to whether these are classed as a tweak or not, as the oats are blended. To be honest though, it’s a measured dose, so you’re not going to go over. They also retain their filling power so, the majority of us dieters can’t see why they’re not still a healthy B.
Served with sliced strawberries and banana, and perhaps some sweetened quark and a drizzle of choc shot (optional, for a low syn treat), they’re a good, wholesome, healthy breakfast delight.
