Scan Bran, sweetened quark and strawberries – Syn Free
Scan Bran – another way to make these little “cardboard biscuits” more interesting
As you may recall from my previous post on scan bran (with Ham & Pease Pudding), these little biscuit things aren’t the nicest things in the world. Having been doing the scan bran challenge for nearly three weeks, I was thoroughly bored of them by now.
I had to find something different but, something that could disguise the taste of these evil biscuits quite well. Where idea for Strawberries and quark from, I don’t recall. It may have been my oat pancakes but, thought I would give it a go. I would say I was quite pleasantly surprised with how tolerable they were. However, it’s also probably something that I wouldn’t make a regular habit of.
I’ve posted this as a recipe. I wasn’t sure whether this should be a recipe or not, as it’s really simple. It’s definitely an idea for you to try though if you’re trying the scan bran challenge and want something to take the taste away!
